Fun times at Cedar Point

My girl friend invited me to Cedar Point with her and her friends.  It was with a few friends from high school that I haven't seen in years but I was very surprised at how well we connected again.  It was, well, rather warm, close to 100 degrees and a heat advisory.  Waiting in line for roller coasters didn't seem to be a fun idea.

First ride was the new Gatekeeper.  With an hour and a half wait we began our adventures in the heat.  Being a red head that was going to be a fun day.
After a wait in 100 degree weather at 10:00A.M. we decided to get some lunch.  Chick-fil-a never looked so mouth watering.
Some cameo shots of Danielle and her friends.

Ended up at the Mean Streak one of the 10 best and oldest wooden roller coasters in the world.  After finally having a cloud come into view our day got just a little brighter (pun intended).

Best of all for the day...  I FOUND MY DOPPELGANGER.  He literally was an exact copy of myself 3 years ago.  btw I'm the one on the left.

Finally got some dinner making some turkey sandwiches and enjoying some asphalt seating.  All and all in was a good day at the park.  Got in most of the roller coasters and didn't get burnt!

Why the Admiral View?

So why the did I chose this name?  Well a few factors.  One, I'm in the U.S. Navy.  Admiral is a rank in the military and gives a good part of my background.  But it isn't really about that type of Admiral.  It is based on the Admiral Television company.  They primary built television sets in the 1950s.  I thought what would the world look like through that television set?  How I see it would be just as different as someone in the 1950s looking at an Admiral set, deciding which one to buy.  I think its a perfect adaption a way to view to world in an Admiral View.

New Logo

New Logo.  Wow that took forever to design.  I feel like it is a better fit.  It is far more simple and all around better haha

Power Button

I reach for the remote and find the Red button labeled Power and apply pressure.  I bring life to a black screen.  This is the first chapter of my blog.  I have been following blogs such as EngadgetGizmodo, and The Londoner for quite some time now.  I look at their blogs and learn so much from them, the new tech coming out, where to get the best food in London and so on.

Now, my blog won't be specifically structured.  I am kind of a jack-of-all-trades type.  I have so many interests and ideas that I couldn't possibly focus on two or three.  I'm an avid Lego enthusiast (yes, I know, at this age I should move on), tech guru, Apple Fanboy, wine enjoyer, travel, and a movie and television show addict.  I can't control what I enjoy and so I would rather just share it all.

Now I haven't decided now I will go about writing each day I plan to just share interests I may have that day or go off tandem and talk about a funny conversation I had at lunch.  Whatever it may be I hope I can provide a blog built to be continuously expanded through followers requests and my daily life.
